DESCRIPTION:October 17\, 2026 · 7:30 PM · The Regent Theatre\, Picton ON\nBruce McCulloch (The Kids in the Hall) returns to Comedy Country with his latest live show. Dark Purple Slice features his trademark dark humour with a warm human heart at the centre. It premiered last year in Calgary in a run of 3 shows at One Yellow Rabbit’s High Performance Rodeo. The show\, which includes plenty of Bruce’s trademark musical comedy\, launches alongside a new record. \nBruce McCulloch\nBruce McCulloch is an actor\, comedian\, writer\, and director. Perhaps best known for his work with the award-winning sketch troupe\, The Kids in the Hall\, whose latest season aired on Amazon Prime Video. \nBruce has three comedy albums: Shame-based Man\, The Drunk Baby Project and his brand new release\, Dark Purple Slice (2026). On stage\, he has written or performed several one-man shows including Two-Headed Roommate\, Jazz Stenographers\, Slightly Bigger\, and most recently Tales of Bravery & Stupidity. His first book\, Let’s Start a Riot was released by Harper Collins. \nBruce has written and performed in Young Drunk Punk (a series inspired by his own life)\, Death Comes to Town\, and This Blows (web series) also for CBC\, and he created Carpoolers for ABC. He has directed such shows as SNL\, Brooklyn Nine-Nine\, Schitt’s Creek\, and Trailer Park Boys.
