DESCRIPTION:Ten artists in Wellington kick off the season with the first weekend of June being the official opening of the studios   June 5\, 6 and 7 from 10 -5. \nPainters\,  a glass maker\, potters\, a framer\,  a tile painter will welcome you into their artistic worlds. The Sybil Frank Gallery as well will host various artists works. \nBrochures depicting each artists work which includes a map showing their location are available in various locations as well as advertised on the radio and in the Times. \nFollow the green bikes around the village of Wellington that indicate a gallery or studio. This is an open house for the opening of the artists studios and galleries of Wellington. There are over 10 locations to visit \, see the wonderful creations and artists at work in their studios . \nArt work includes  paintings\, glass and pottery\, painted tiles and repurposed materials made into artistic  creations \n  \n  \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:On June 6\, from 11:00 AM – 3 PM\, the Bloomfield/Hallowell Recreation Committee is organizing an “Old Fashioned Picnic” to be held at the Mill Pond Park in Bloomfield. \nThere will be games\, bouncy castles\, displays\, and hotdogs and hamburgers. This is the third year we are holding the event\, and the first two have been a success and appreciated by all who participated. \nGame area – we have games! Fishing games. Toss games. Even axe throwing – don’t worry\, not real metal axes. \nYou can volunteer for a 2-hour shift (11:00 AM – 1 PM\, 1 PM – 3 PM) or stay for the whole time. \nQuestions? Want to sign up?
