Join us at Base31’s Exhibition Hall on November 10 for a quiet evening of remembrance. Take in the glowing community-created luminaries as we pause together to reflect, remember and honour those who served.
At 4:47 p.m. when the sun sets, all of the luminaries will be illuminated, creating an evening of quiet remembrance. The community is invited to pause together, reflect, remember, and honour those who served. The luminaries will remain lit throughout the night until morning.
In the weeks leading up to Remembrance Day, visitors are invited to dedicate a Luminary in honour or memory of someone who served. Dedications can recognize a family member, ancestor, friend or another individual, living or deceased. Luminaries are available for a minimum contribution of $5 in the Exhibition Hall, with proceeds donated to the Royal Canadian Legion in Picton, Wellington and Consecon.
