What This Is

The Community Events Calendar is an online calendar on the County of Prince Edward’s website. It shares information about public events happening in Prince Edward County that benefit the community.

Who Can Submit

Community organizations, businesses, groups, and individuals may submit events, as long as the event meets the eligibility rules.

Eligible Events

Events must:
  • Take place in Prince Edward County

  • Be open to the public (fees are allowed)

  • Have a clear community or cultural benefit

  • Be no longer than three days (longer events may be listed by start date only with further details in the listing)

Fundraisers for community organizations and events featuring local artists, makers, and performers are welcome.

Events Not Accepted

Events will not be listed if they are:

  • Private, invite‑only, or members‑only

  • Mainly commercial or meant to boost regular business sales

  • Political, religious, discriminatory, or harmful

  • Unsafe, illegal, or against municipal policies

  • Misaligned with County values, accessibility, or inclusion standards

County staff make final decisions on eligibility.

How to Submit an Event

  • Submit your event using the online form on the County website

  • It can take up to 5 business days to review and approve a listing. Please submit as early as possible.

  • County staff review submissions before posting. Event submissions received less than 15 (fifteen) business days prior to the event may be processed at the discretion of Municipal Staff.

  • If an event is not approved, staff may suggest another calendar
